Africa Dragon is the China’s leading professional organization for supply chain professionals, is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented, success-driven professional experienced in growing and retaining organization’s relationships.

African Dragon was registered in 2010 be based in Wuxi Binhu District. African Dragon established a joint venture with South African food producers and is responsible to the development of supply chain within China.

The management was instructed to transform Africa Dragon into a flourishing high-quality Chinese supermarket supplier. As the first step a Chinese company Africa Dragon, the distribution centre for South African products, was established. Furthermore, the products flow from the distribution centre to the individual supermarkets was streamlined.

Meanwhile the economic recession in Asia also affected China. Consequently the African Dragon management had to undertake actions to improve their competitive position. Cost reduction and quality improvement at the upstream side of the distribution centre became the strategic attention points. Africa Dragon decided to focus on reduction of transaction costs and safety certified South African food products. As a result a supplier’s selection process with unique product was initiated.

The process will be supervised by a Strategic Committee, consisting of a Africa Dragon executive and selection of staff, directly or indirectly involved in supply-chain development.

The establishment of the distribution centre in Wuxi was a first step in getting a better supply chain control with finished, high quality and food safety products from South African producers.
